Welcome to my site! I'm a Lecturer at the University of Western Australia. Before that, I did my PhD at the ANU and was then a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Global Priorities Institute for a few years. In August, I'll be leaving UWA to take up a Nanyang Assistant Professorship at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

My research falls primarily within normative ethics and decision theory, although I also have side interests in various areas of applied ethics, in philosophy of economics, and in philosophy of time. My PhD thesis investigated some of the difficulties of moral decision-making when infinite value is at stake. 

Aside from philosophy, I enjoy getting lost in the wilderness, making puns, and trying to make the world a better place.
